So God is amazing,

what has he been teaching me,  to raise my standards that right ladies and gents.  God says in Mathew 5 : 48 " Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly father is perfect."

I know what you are thinking thats a lot to ask, but it says in 2 peter 1 that we are equiped with everything we need, and if we dont grow and are continually headed to perfection then we are ineffective in the kingdom of God, ouch.

So yeah, I heard a good quote, you have two options  "Kill your flesh or it will kill you", it sucks but you feel much fulfilled when its over.

Also read in acts about the brave men, they were fearless and bold, and it because they feared God not men, could you imagine how the kingdom would grow if we were more worried about doing the will of the Lord, instead of thinking about how the world wont make Gods plans happen or what people would think, or how crazy it might look.

I am still learning theses things, Sometimes doing the will of the Lord makes me shake in my boots but it was worth it.

B

P.S. Thank the Lord for all that you have given me,

I'm doing well.  I am still in school for another year and will graduate next may about 2 weeks before the wedding.  James will finish in December and either start graduate school at UMKC or just work.  Work, school, and wedding planning is pretty much all I have going right now but it keeps me busy.  I am working as a receptionist at a family owned furniture store that is only a couple minutes from the apartment which is nice.  So what are you and Luke up to?

Hello there! Things are well in our neck of the woods. I'm working at a place called PRA International in pharmaceutical publishing. I recently got to begin working on the corporate newsletter, so that's been a huge blessing since I now get to do something for which I actually went to school. Jordan and our dog Lilo are doing well, too. How about you? Are you in Columbia these days or somewhere else? And are you working anywhere?

i'm glad God has been teaching you to pursue righteousness. you know that verse that says to cast aside anything that hinders you so you can do God's work? (i have the reference written down somewhere, but i think it's in my garage, in a huge pile of apartment stuff I haven't sorted through yet... and that's too far away at 4am. ) anyway, that verse has been floating around my mind all week. I think it's encouraging, so I thought i'd share.

we totally should walk around downtown sometime and sip... er... something that's caffeine-free, good for our hearts, and packed full of wonderful antioxidants. liiike.... organic wheatgrass juice! (or something with berries) I could use some hospital-free girl time.

Sounds like you guys are doing great! I remember you being the one and only person who wanted to touch my semi-healed wound from when I fell on the fence freshman year of high school, so it totally doesn't surprise me that you're a nurse now. No kids on the way yet; just our pup. We just got back from a walk in the 95-degree weather, and she is beat! Are you guys coming to KC anytime soon? We should hang out.
